The Computational Communication and AI Lab is located at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. The lab brings together research projects that use computational methods, artificial intelligence, and digital trace data to study communication processes, media environments, and society.
The lab aims to advance innovative work on methods, analysis, and scientific practices critical to communication research. Its work focuses on computational communication, AI-mediated communication, digital platforms, human–AI interaction, mobile and social media, and emerging forms of data collection and analysis. The lab studies AI not only as a research topic, but also as a tool, infrastructure, and method for communication research.
The lab welcomes students, researchers, and collaborators interested in computational and AI-driven approaches to communication. The lab also supports teaching, training, and course development related to computational methods, AI, and digital communication research.
